Synapse Analytics raises $13M Series A led by Partech to put AI credit decisioning inside banks' own infrastructure.
Synapse Analytics has raised $13 million in a Series A led by Partech, with Algebra Ventures and Silicon Badia participating, taking total funding to $17 million. Valuation was not disclosed.
Founded in Cairo in 2018 by CEO Ahmed Abaza and Galal Elbeshbishy and now headquartered in Abu Dhabi, Synapse builds agentic decisioning infrastructure for regulated financial institutions. The platform deploys inside the client's own environment, on-premise, in private or sovereign cloud, or fully air-gapped, so sensitive data never leaves the institution. Credit and risk teams can build, simulate, version and deploy policies themselves, testing changes against historical data before release.
It covers onboarding, credit scoring, fraud detection, AML, collections and customer value management for banks, non-bank lenders, fintechs and telcos across the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Proceeds fund hiring, product development and international expansion.
Partech's Lewam Kefela led the deal for the firm.
