PlannerPal has raised $6 million (£4.3 million) led by Mercia Ventures. Ada Ventures, which led its pre-seed in February 2024, returned, alongside strategic fintech investors and angels.

Led by co-founder and CEO Mark Whitcroft, PlannerPal started by cutting the paperwork of financial advice: it records client meetings, generates documentation and updates the platforms advisers use every day. Firms now also use it to connect client data scattered across conversations, files and core systems, improving the records they hold.

The company has moved into UK mortgages, signing Charles Cameron, one of the country's largest independent mortgage brokers. The funding goes to engineering and product hiring, customer deployments and its client intelligence features, with a deliberate focus on the UK market.
