Comparables.ai raises a $6M seed led by Pragmatech and Araya Ventures for its AI M&A intelligence platform

Helsinki-based Comparables.ai has raised a $6 million seed round led by Pragmatech and Araya Ventures, with Purple Ventures, Gorilla Capital, hi5 Ventures and Somersault Ventures participating.

Founded in 2021 by Niko Nalli, Markus Vesala, Martin Kangasniemi and CTO Muhammad Ammad-ud-din, the company builds an AI-native intelligence platform for dealmakers. It combines private company financials, group structures, valuation data, M&A transactions and contacts on more than 370 million companies, so M&A advisers, private equity firms and corporate development teams can find targets and buyers in mid-market deals.

More than 50,000 professionals in over 30 countries use the platform. The round follows a $700,000 pre-seed in 2022 and will fund expansion into more markets and the core AI engine.
