Cleavr has raised an €8 million seed round led by Varsity, the fund launched in 2024 by former Société Générale and Serena partners, with Portfolio Ventures, Kerala and Financière Saint James, plus existing investors Kima Ventures and Better Angle. The round comes six months after a €1 million pre-seed.
Founded in 2025 by CEO Baptiste Nassoy, Arthur Guérin and Antoine Grenard, the French fintech automates accounts receivable: once an invoice is issued, the platform identifies the right contacts, follows up by email, phone or SMS, tracks payment commitments and escalates disputes, with humans stepping in only where needed. It connects to ERP and accounting software and is deployed within days, without activation fees or locked-in licences.
Cleavr says customers cut days sales outstanding by 37% on average in the first weeks, collect 40% more cash and spend 80% less time chasing payments. The platform already processes several billion euros of invoices a year across several European markets.
