Sprints, the London-based growth investor, has closed its fifth fund at €725 million ($810 million), according to Bloomberg. Raising it took about a year, and more than half of the capital is already deployed across new companies and the existing portfolio.
Co-founder and managing partner Henrik Persson said the limited partners include endowments, foundations, pension funds and family offices. The previous fund, Fund IV, closed at its €525 million hard cap in December 2021.
Sprints backs marketplace, financial and software companies. It invested early in Revolut, is the largest shareholder in Vinted, and has backed Flightradar24 and Checkout.com. It first invested in Revolut and Vinted in 2018 and sold part of those stakes in secondary deals last year.
