Italian startup simpL has raised a €1.2 million pre-seed round led by Techshop Capital, with Vento Ventures and several business angels participating.
Founded by CEO Nicolò Fugallo, CTO Raffaele Scarano and Luca Marco Agnoli, simpL is building a system that tells B2B sales teams which companies and decision-makers to contact, when to reach out and how. It collects public signals such as job postings, company pages and news with its own technology rather than buying data, organises them into a proprietary knowledge graph linking companies, people and interactions, and runs deep-learning models to predict who is most likely to respond.
The system plugs into email, CRM and calendars, learns a company's products and sales strategy, and can open and manage conversations through to a booked meeting, choosing each step from the reply rather than a fixed sequence. Fugallo says the company sells an integrated process paid only on success, not another tool.
