Shine, the French business account provider owned by Cegid, has acquired Libeo, which specialises in managing and paying supplier invoices. Terms were not disclosed. The whole Libeo team, including co-founders Pierre-Antoine Glandier and Jérémy Attuil, joins Shine, and Libeo's product, pricing and team stay unchanged for customers.

Libeo serves close to 3,000 SMEs and accounting firms and says it has been profitable since 2025, after refocusing its business and closing its UK operations.

Shine already covers the business account, e-invoicing and accounting; Libeo adds the purchase cycle: receipt, AI-assisted checks, approval and payment of supplier invoices. The deal follows Cegid's completion of its Shine takeover on 8 June 2026. Shine CEO Rico Adlor-Andersen framed it as a step toward one ecosystem for entrepreneurs and their accountants.
