Bangkok-based Salary Hero has raised a $7.6 million Series A led by Cento Ventures, with Malaysia's Kairous Capital and M Venture Partners participating. It has also expanded its credit facility with regional banks and lenders to $10 million, which funds its on-demand pay.
Co-founded by managing directors Prabhav Rakhra and Jonathan Nohr, Salary Hero offers earned wage access through employers' HR and payroll systems, letting workers draw wages they have already earned before payday, alongside budgeting tools and financial education.
It works with more than 100 companies and over 300,000 employees in Thailand, and says it has helped workers avoid about $150 million in loans from predatory lenders.
Salary Hero began operating in Malaysia in the second quarter of 2026 and targets 50 corporate partners there by the end of 2027.
