Robinhood unveils AI trading agents, 10x crypto perps and weekend stock trading at HOOD Summit

At its HOOD Summit in Houston, Robinhood announced Robinhood Agents: customers build an AI agent in the app, on a model from OpenAI or Anthropic, and connect it to a dedicated account where it can analyse markets, build strategies and trade. By default every trade an agent proposes needs the customer's approval. More than 150,000 agentic accounts have been opened since Robinhood opened its platform to outside AI agents in May.
Eligible US customers will also get crypto perpetual futures with up to 10x leverage, offered by Robinhood Derivatives through Bitstamp, plus earnings-based contracts and extended options hours.
Weekend trading for a curated list of stocks and ETFs, pending regulatory review, will run on Bruce ATS. The same day, Bruce Markets announced new strategic investments from majority shareholder PEAK6 and from Robinhood to extend US equity trading through the weekend.
