One Trading, the Dutch-regulated derivatives venue, has secured a strategic investment from Nasdaq Ventures for an undisclosed amount. The two will explore a partnership around round-the-clock equity futures, upgraded derivatives infrastructure and a wider range of instruments, including longer-dated futures.
Led by CEO Joshua Barraclough, One Trading, formerly Bitpanda Pro, runs a MiFID II Organised Trading Facility authorised by the AFM and DNB. Its core is a single cloud-based engine that handles trading, risk and settlement together, with netting across collateral, continuous settlement and automated liquidations. The company says this ties up less margin and removes the need for a shared default fund. SC Ventures led its previous strategic round in 2024.
The read: crypto-native market structure, 24/7 trading and automated liquidation, now being tested on traditional derivatives inside EU rules.
