Marble raises €6.5M Series A led by Smartfin to automate fraud and AML compliance

Marble has raised a €6.5 million Series A led by Smartfin. New investor ADNEXUS joined existing backers Passion Capital, 42Capital and Hexa, bringing total funding to €9 million.
Founded in Paris in 2021 by CEO Arnaud Schwartz and Pascal Delange, both former Shine executives, Marble builds an open-source, no-code platform for fraud and AML compliance. Risk teams write and test their own transaction monitoring rules, run sanctions screening and investigations, and deploy it on-premise or as SaaS.
More than 100 institutions in over 25 countries run it in production. Nearly 70% of customers are outside France and 70% switched from another tool. Marble says it protects more than 3 billion transactions a year and targets over €5 million of ARR by 2027.
The money goes into AI across rule creation, alert triage and case investigation.
