Homeward raises $120M Series D and $330M in asset-backed debt led by Saluda Grade

Homeward has raised $120 million in Series D equity led by Saluda Grade. It has also secured $330 million in asset-backed debt facilities, which will fund more home transactions.
Founded and led by CEO Tim Heyl, the Austin-based company offers cash-backed real estate financing through agents. Its products are Buy Before You Sell bridge financing with a guaranteed backup offer, Cash Offer, and Buy with Cash, which lets buyers bid in cash and refinance into a mortgage after closing. Homeward Mortgage and Homeward Title run on the same platform.
Homeward has worked with more than 25,000 agents and facilitated over $4 billion in residential transactions. The new capital funds growth across the 48 contiguous US states.
Continental General Insurance Company, Citi Ventures, Magnetar, Norwest, Adams Street Partners, LiveOak Ventures and Javelin Venture Partners also participated.
