Hercle, an institutional cross-border payments and treasury infrastructure provider, has completed its registration with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada as a Money Services Business.

The Canadian registration adds to Hercle's licences in Europe: an Electronic Money Institution authorisation from the Bank of Italy, a MiCA crypto-asset service provider authorisation through CONSOB, and membership of a Swiss self-regulatory organisation.

Hercle brings cross-border payments, foreign exchange, liquidity and settlement into one institutional platform. Its clients include banks, payment service providers, fintechs and corporate treasuries handling both fiat and digital asset flows.

CEO and co-founder Gabriele Sabbatini said Canada gives the company a base in North America as it extends its institutional network to more markets.
