London-based Cognitive Credit sells structured credit data, analytics and AI workflow tools to credit teams, covering more than 3,500 corporate bond and loan issuers in the US, Europe and emerging markets. Founder and CEO Robert Slater says outputs are auditable and traceable to source, and the data can also be used through a Claude connector.
The company says it supports workflows at more than 80% of the top 25 global asset managers by AUM and at all top 10 global debt league table investment banks, with active users up 240% over three years. The money goes to US expansion, the imminent launch of DealConnect for private issuers that report through data rooms, and agentic credit analysis.
The read: AI in credit research depends on verified, source-linked data, not on the model alone.
