Scarlett is Chief Strategy and Growth Officer at Money20/20, running content, marketing, PR, product and strategy globally, and had held the role for four years.
Money20/20 is roughly a $100 million revenue business.
Money20/20 is launching awards with five categories, to be announced on 2 April.
Money20/20's sister brand is Cannes Lions, which began as an award and grew into a festival.
Money20/20 started in the US 12 years ago; Europe, first in Copenhagen then Amsterdam, reaches its tenth year in 2026; Asia launched in 2024 in Bangkok with a team in Singapore.
In 2024 Money20/20 drew over 11,000 people in the US, over 8,000 in Europe and over 3,000 in Asia; about 25% of attendees are startups.
Each flagship show is about 70% local and 30% international; the Europe show draws people from over 80 countries.
More than ten Southeast Asian regulators were attending the Asia show, up from six or seven the year before.
Money20/20 was acquired by Informa in October, and Money20/20 Middle East launches in Riyadh in September as a joint venture with Tahaluf.
BBVA acquired the early US neobank Simple, which was later shut down and absorbed into the bank.
