Uranium Digital has raised a $16.5 million Series A led by Blockchain Capital, with existing investors Portal Ventures and Apeiron Investment Group, the vehicle of Christian Angermayer, participating. The round closed in October and was announced on 5 November.
Founded in 2024 and based in New York, the company is building an electronic trading platform where institutions buy and sell physical uranium. Blockchain records track ownership while the uranium stays in storage, replacing broker-led, manual processes. Alex Dymala-Dolesky is CEO and co-founder, alongside co-founder Jack Rindner.
Target users are investors seeking uranium price exposure, miners locking in sale prices and utilities securing fuel. The company raised a $6.1 million seed round in 2025, backed by Framework Ventures, and has 11 employees across Canada, New York and Hong Kong. The new funds go to expanding the trading platform. No valuation or trading volumes were disclosed.
