Revolut is becoming a mobile operator in Germany

Revolut has launched Revolut Mobile for its 3M+ customers in Germany.

The plan costs €14.99 per month. It includes 120GB of full-speed data, unlimited calls and SMS, and unlimited data at 2 Mbps once the 120GB is used. Customers also get 40GB of EU roaming, one eSIM for local and international use, up to 3 additional phone numbers and free NordVPN. The bill can be paid with RevPoints.

The service runs on Telefónica Deutschland's network and is powered by 1GLOBAL. Activation and management happen entirely inside the Revolut app.

Elyas Sadou, GM Telecom at Revolut, said the company wants to bring to telecom the same disruptive energy it brought to banking.

The launch fits a broader pattern. Revolut says 11 of its product lines now generate more than €120M in annual revenue each.

Banking is becoming one product among many.
