Mollie has launched a venture model to build an intelligence platform and banking layer that lets its customers run their own AI agents directly on Mollie's payment and banking rails. Instead of staffing an internal product team, it is recruiting a founding team or considering acquihires of early-stage startups.
The equity pool of up to €50 million is structured in tiers and depends on meeting operational and commercial milestones. The team works in a ring-fenced setup with full ownership of architecture, roadmap and go-to-market.
It gets Mollie's regulated banking rails, its technology infrastructure and distribution to more than 350,000 businesses.
Founder Adriaan Mol said machine-driven transactions need dedicated financial infrastructure, and that building it from zero needs the autonomy of a founding team. Applications are open now.
