Mastercard and Beast Industries, the company behind YouTube creator MrBeast, announced on 26 October a partnership to build co-brand consumer and creator card programs, experiences, tools and education. Mastercard says it will also work with Beast on exclusive cardholder benefits and Priceless experiences tied to the MrBeast ecosystem, and on support for creators with hiring, product development and audience engagement.
Mastercard frames the deal as part of its goal to connect and protect 500 million people and small businesses on their path to financial health by the end of the decade. Jill Kramer, its chief marketing and communications officer, said the aim is to meet the next generation where they are.
Beast Industries has been moving into financial services: it acquired the fintech Step in February and has filed to trademark MrBeast Financial. Mastercard launched a debit card for professional creators earlier this year. Issuer and launch details were not in the coverage reviewed.
