Intuit has signed an agreement to acquire Sequence, a Series A company that automates the quote-to-revenue process for businesses. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2021 and based in London and New York, Sequence replaces spreadsheets and manual billing with an AI-native platform covering pricing, billing, invoicing, collections and revenue recognition. Its customers include some of the fastest growing AI companies.
The deal adds revenue management to Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Online Advanced, so mid-market businesses can price, bill and collect on revenue tied to consumption, usage, seats and milestones. Ashley Still, who runs Intuit's small business and mid-market group, said complex usage-based revenue is one of the main reasons growing companies move to an ERP.
Co-founder and CEO Riya Grover and the Sequence team join Intuit's mid-market product organisation. Sequence's customers keep their service; an integrated offering follows in the coming months.
