Bizcap has closed a $175 million credit facility with what it calls a leading US institutional credit manager, which is not named. The facility adds funding capacity for originations and product expansion across the United States and Canada. Brean Capital was exclusive financial advisor and sole placement agent.

Bizcap was founded in Australia in 2019 and offers fast, flexible funding to small and medium-sized businesses across North America, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom and Europe. It operates in eight countries.

The company says it has provided more than $5 billion in funding to over 100,000 businesses, and it is investing in proprietary AI and machine learning for credit decisioning and operational efficiency. CEO Albert Gahfi called the facility a major milestone for its North American growth. The release gives no pricing or tenor.
