Anorak Ventures, the seed firm founded in 2016 by Greg Castle, has confirmed its third fund at $35 million. The size is backed by an SEC Form D filing from October 2025, which showed $25.15 million committed from 17 investors at the time, and by the firm's own announcement materials.

Fund III writes cheques of $250,000 to $1 million, leading or following, from Los Angeles and San Francisco, and narrows the thesis to aerospace and defence, critical infrastructure and advanced manufacturing. Earlier vintages went from a $1.2 million Fund 0 in 2012, which backed Oculus, Flexport and Mux, to a $13.4 million Fund I in 2017 with Anduril, Flock and Onebrief, and a $24.5 million Fund II in 2021 with Heaviside, Sesame and Framework.

Named LPs include Oculus co-founders Michael Antonov, Brendan Iribe and Nate Mitchell, Framework founder Nirav Patel, former Rocket Companies CEO Jay Farner and OpenGov CEO Zachary Bookman, alongside Goldman Sachs, Screendoor, Detroit Venture Partners, Verdis, Mangrove and Ronin.
