Affirm has signed an exclusive, multi-year agreement to be the pay-over-time provider at Sam's Club, announced on 22 October. Affirm will be available on SamsClub.com in the coming weeks, with a rollout to Sam's Club locations planned for 2027. Financial terms were not disclosed.
At checkout, shoppers run a real-time eligibility check for the specific purchase, then choose a monthly plan and see each payment and the end date before committing. Affirm says it never charges late fees and its interest never compounds. Wayne Pommen, Affirm's chief revenue officer, said every dollar should count after checkout too.
The deal arrives weeks before the holiday shopping season. Klarna replaced Affirm as Walmart's installment partner in 2025.
The read: after losing Walmart, Affirm now holds exclusivity at the group's membership club.
