World is a human-verification network built around World ID, a privacy-preserving proof that a person is a unique human rather than a bot or deepfake. Users verify once at an Orb, a biometric device, and keep the resulting credential on their phone in the World ID app, which they use to sign in to supported apps and services. The network also includes World App with World Money, the World Chain blockchain, Selfie Check and integrations such as World ID for Zoom and for Tinder. Solutions are offered for individuals, enterprises (including banking and finance), governments and developers, who integrate through the IDKit SDK and Mini Apps. The company says millions of people in 160 countries use World ID and World App. The site states the World ID app is available in the United States.
