Sweden-based Norrsken Evolve has closed its pre-seed fund at €62M, above the €60M hard cap and up from the €57M announced in August 2025. The original target was €50M.

LPs include the European Investment Fund, Saminvest and SmartCap, corporates Volvo Group and Fortum Innovation & Venturing, family offices Skaala and Jula, and a group of entrepreneurs and operators.

The fund writes first cheques of €250K to €500K and pairs them with an in-person acceleration programme and access to its network of founders, investors and operators. It has already backed more than 30 companies, including Aiomics, Atmospheric AI, Bubble Robotics and Chain Bioreactor, and still has capital to deploy.

Focus areas are robotics, energy, semiconductors, advanced materials, cybersecurity, AI, quantum and health tech, with an impact lens on people and planet. The firm was launched by Alex Bakir, Johan Attby, Funda Sezgi and Rebecka Löthman Rydå.
