FinMaq has closed a $6.5 million Series A led by Accion. Mundi Ventures joined as a new investor, and existing backers ALIVE Ventures and 30N Ventures returned. The round follows a $29 million pre-Series A, a mix of equity and debt, in early 2025.

The Colombian fintech finances productive machinery for micro, small and medium-sized businesses at the point of sale through distributor partnerships, using proprietary scoring models and digital onboarding to offer credit, rent-to-own and hybrid plans. Its clients include workshops, clinics, transport operators and food producers.

Since 2019 it has served more than 1,600 clients and disbursed over $100 million, according to local press, and 40% of its clients are in rural areas. It targets $200 million in disbursements and 5,000 active clients over 18 months.
