BY Venture Partners has closed its third fund at $60 million and opened a Lisbon office.
BY Venture Partners has closed its third fund at $60 million and opened a Lisbon office. Fund III is anchored by the Dubai Future District Fund, with Multi Lane, Transmed Capital and the Idriss Family Office of Saudi Arabia also participating. It lifts the firm's assets under management above $200 million.
The Dubai-headquartered firm invests up to $1 million per company from pre-seed to Series A in AI-native enterprise software. Fund III has made 15 investments toward a planned 40, including PQ Shield, Cosyne, Isometric, Huspy and Invisible. Two thirds of the firm's capital is deployed outside the Middle East and North Africa.
Partners Ghaith Yafi, Abdallah Yafi, Rami Jisr and Sohrab Jahanbani are repeat founders, and the first two funds produced four unicorns. The Lisbon hub comes with two local investment hires.
